Winnie-The -Pooh's Teatime Cookbook January 3, 2002 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This is the most charming and delightful little recipe book I've ever bought! I needed cookbooks representing cultures from around the world for a senior high school Multicultural Studies class that I teach and thought it would be fun to include English teatime snacks. I got this book and decided to keep it for myself. The recipes are fun and easy. Try the honeycake and scones for breakfast or snack-time. I recommend this for children and adults.
Delightful Book with Tasty Recipes July 26, 2000 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I love to cook and where I work we have a yearly Tea Party in which we donate the proceeds to a local charity. I have used several of the recipes in this book and have only received rave reviews. The illustrations and poems are an extra delight. I highly recommend this book.
A cute collection of recipies! June 15, 2000 3 out of 6 found this review helpful
THis book was a good selection of recipies revolving around the origonal pooh books. Tho they were not origonaly from Winnie the Pooh or the House at pooh Corner or the Two Books of Poems that A. A. Milne wrote about this silly old bear, they were collected carefuly to surround the stories. These books are smaller in content but very compriable to the (3) three books by V. H. Ellison with recipies in them about Pooh and his friends. THey are diffrent recipies and very taty at that!
