Unusual flowering tea bag sets August 30, 2008 I purchased this product as Mother's day gifts for 5 of my family members. Everyone stated that the altho the teas were unusual, the flavor was great and they would buy them again for themselves.
Numi's Bouquet Tea Set July 6, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The tea is not quite what I expected. The "flowers" are already opened. Other teas of this type that I have had, have been tightly rolled up and expanded in the hot water to form the flower. That was a let down. The tea its self did have a good flavor. As for the pot, the lid has no catch so you have to try to hold it on when you pour, or it falls off (usually into the cup and splashes). The pot gets VERY HOT and is hard to hold - especially the lid. On the whole, I was very disappointed with this set. I would not recommend it to others.
A great gift! July 3, 2008 Thinking about what to give to someone as a gift, this is a perfect idea, of course if only the are tea drinkers , this was a thank you present to a lady i know, she is a tea drinker and she loved it! it is very cute, and a great gift, the delivery was fast and i am very satisfied with this product.
made a lovely gift June 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
box and presentation was lovely. my "gift reciever" was very impressed. the tea jar is smaller than i expected- only about 3 inches high or so. I have not seen the flowers bloom as it was a gift but it seemed utterly fascinating when i examined the box. made me want one for myself. wish to see the flowers in a future visit with reciever. sorry couldn't be more helpful on that end.
Great little tea pot & delicious tea June 1, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am enjoying the Numi tea pot and flowering teas. The flowering part is less impressive than the picture indicated, but the tea is delicious. The dried flower/tea concept is unique and interesting. I will definitely purchase refills when I am out. The little pot makes 1 mug of tea, but you can reuse the same tea flower 2-3 times. The bamboo box is exotic looking--definitely not a throw-away. This makes a great gift for tea drinkers or a treat for yourself.
